The following information aims to define the general conditions of sale established between MERAKI and the customer at the time of ordering on the MERAKI online store at merakipt.com.
ORDERS
After placing your order, please make sure that you receive a confirmation email in the inbox of the email address you provided during registration.
Orders are considered complete once the payment has been confirmed. If you choose the payment method of Bank Transfer, the payment is only considered confirmed after sending the payment proof to our email – hello@merakipt.com. If it is not possible to send the payment proof for any reason, please contact us to resolve the issue.
You will receive another email later confirming the shipment of your order, which will also include the tracking number.
MERAKI is not responsible for orders lost by the postal service or customs, so please keep your tracking information.
SHIPPING TIMES
The shipping time is 1-3 business days for orders destined for Portugal, except during festive seasons or periods of high demand when this process may experience some changes. In such cases, the customer will be notified.
Once the shipment is confirmed (upon receipt of the shipping confirmation email), your order should be delivered by the postal service within the following time frames:
Mainland Portugal and Islands: 1-3 business days
European Union: up to 10 days business days
The order will be sent to the recipient and the address provided. The customer is fully responsible for the provided address.
MERAKI operates according to the Portuguese calendar. Please consider that shipments cannot be made during weekends and holidays.
Unless agreed otherwise, all MERAKI orders are sent via Registered Mail by CTT (Portuguese postal service). MERAKI cannot be held responsible for any customs fees or delivery delays dependent on the destination country.
PAYMENT METHODS
MasterCard; Visa; American Express; Apple Pay; Google Pay;
MB Way: You will receive an email with the associated mobile number to make the payment.
PayPal: You will be redirected to the PayPal website and should follow the provided instructions until the payment is completed. The customer will be properly guided.
Bank transfer: After completing your order, your items will be manually reserved by our team, and the payment details for the bank transfer will be sent to you via email. If the payment proof is not sent to us within 24 hours, the order will be canceled.
If it is not possible to send the payment proof for any reason, please contact us at hello@merakipt.com so that we can confirm and consider the order completed as soon as possible.
DELIVERY
During the purchase process, you will be asked for the delivery address. It is important to fill in the data correctly to ensure the delivery of the order.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with shipping information.
The order will be sent to the recipient and the address provided. The customer is fully responsible for the provided address.
If the delivery is unsuccessful by the postal service in Portugal, a postal notice will be left, and the order will be held at the local CTT Post Office. You will have 5 business days to pick up your order, otherwise, it will be returned. In case of return, the reshipment costs will be borne by the customer.
SHIPPING COSTS
The shipping cost will be added to the total cost of the order. Before finalizing the order, you can view the total amount to be paid, including shipping costs and VAT.
Portugal: €4 via Registered Mail by CTT
European Union: €6 via Registered Mail by CTT
Any order over €60 with destination in Europe will have free shipping. In Portugal, all oders over €35 will have free shipping.
